NORTH SHORE WAITANGI DAY FESTIVAL 2020

This Summer 2020, Sequinc took a break from Construction Projects and added the first Event Project to their profile.  With Family Values being at the core of our brand, Sequinc was a proud sponsor of Summer Vibes and contributed Event Management Services to bring the first ever Waitangi Day Celebration to Auckland's North Shore.  After just over 4 months to plan and execute this celebration, Te Whanau o Awataha Trust opened up the beautiful grounds at Awataha Marae, Northcote and welcomed up to 5,000 guests on the day. It was an alcohol, smokefree and admission free event for the whole family to enjoy which included entertainment from some of the biggest local and international names, a marketplace full of diverse food, arts and crafts, a kids activity and play zone and thousands of dollars worth of prize giveaways.  With the support of local businesses and organisations, the entire community came together in true spirit of unity to fully fund and share in this celebration of NZ's most iconic day in history.
